How to take Body Measurements:


Kameez Measurements:
Part –I (Outlook)
Length of Kameez – Shoulder to knees or as required (hold the tape on the highest part of the shoulder which is near the neck)
Length of Shalwar – Waist to floor.
Length of Long Dress – Shoulder to floor.

Part –II (Fitting)
Shoulder Width- To be measured from the prominent bone at the end of one shoulder to the prominent bone at the end of the other shoulder (measure from back side)
Bust Girth- To be measured around the fullest part of the bust (circumference)
Waist Girth- To be measured around the natural waist line (circumference)
Hip Girth- To be measured around the fullest part of the hips (circumference)
(When you measure around your bust, waist, or hips, the tape should be neither too tight nor too loose)
Bust Point- To be measured from shoulder/neck to bust point.
Nape to Wrist- To be measured from back of the neck bone to natural wrist.
Armhole Girth- To be measured all the way from under the arm to shoulder + ½ for ease (hold the tape on the prominent bone of the shoulder and take it all the way from under the arm till where you started, it should not be too loose nor too tight)
Neck Depth – To be kept as required.

Part – III (Sleeve)
Arm Length: 
Place your hand at your waist, start from your shoulder bone and measure down to your elbow and then all the way on to your wrist. (you might need help for this)
Full Sleeve -  To be measured from shoulder bone to elbow to wrist.
Threeforth Sleeve - To be measured from shoulder bone to elbow + 5 inch
Half  Sleeve - To be measured from shoulder to elbow + 1 inch
Quarter Sleeve - To be measured from shoulder bone to elbow – 2 inch
Arm Girth:
Full Sleeve -  To be measured around wrist.
Threeforth Sleeve - To be measured around lower arm.
Half  Sleeve - To be measured around elbow.
Quarter Sleeve - To be measured around upper arm.

Note: Please do not measure while you are wearing thick clothes as it can give you wrong sizes. Write down the measurements as you take.
